Critics and fans aren’t the only ones giving high marks to Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange for their performances in HBO’s Grey Gardens, Big Edie Beale’s own grandchildren, Michelle Beale and cousin Christopher Beale, are talking to E! Online and praising the film for their depiction of the lives of their infamous relatives.

In the March 2008 issue of Vogue, Drew Barrymore says she found the role of a lifetime portraying “Little Edie” Bouvier Beale in HBO’s upcoming production, “Grey Gardens”.

“Something about learning you can live without everything changes you. All my life, I’ve been waiting and waiting to become a woman, but I always felt like a little girl.

Edie did too, but I think she might have been the thing that made me finally become a woman. I thought for sure it would be a relationship with another human being, a love. Little did I know, it would be a posthumous relationship with… Edith Beale.”

Drew also spoke about the possibility for doing a third installment in the “Charlie’s Angels” franchise:

“I’m dying to do a third. Poo (her nickname for Cameron Diaz) and Lucy (Liu) and I talk about it all the time.”

On what you didn’t know about her:

“Photography has been my secret hobby and passion for years now.”

On her transformation from wild child:

“I think I had some mechanism in my head that said, ‘If you don’t pull it together for yourself, no one else will.’ That‚’s coming from a person who had to try it all, burn my hand on the stove and party it up.”

On the legendary Barrymore clan:

“Maybe they were crazy, but they were talented and they were interested and they were passionate about life… I’m proud I come from that circus.”

Drew Barrymore is the face of Gucci’s high-end fine jewelery line. This makes Drew the first celebrity ever to be featured in one of the infamous design house’s advertising campaigns.

Here we have the first pics of Drew Barrymore filming scenes for the “Grey Gardens” movie, currently shooting on Centre Island, Toronto, Canada.

32-year-old Barrymore plays “Little” Edie Beale in the HBO production, while Academy Award-winning actress Jessica Lange will portray “Big Edie” Bouvier Beale in this prequel, set before the events of the infamous Maysles Brothers documentary.

Drew Barrymore will be joining Queen Latifah and Molly Sims as the newest face of CoverGirl cosmetics. The deal will include Barrymore co-directing her own commercial which will debut January of 2008.

“To be chosen not only as the newest face of CoverGirl, but also as a co-creative director of my first TV commercial is truly amazing,” Barrymore said.

That’s most excellent Drew, but now can we please move on to filming that Grey Gardens movie which has been stuck in development hell forever?
