Grey Gardens is getting some new tenants -and no, unlike many of the Beale’s acquaintances, the cats and raccoons are not making their way out of the woodwork to get a piece of all the recent Grey Gardens action.
WWD reports Grey’s current owners, Sally Quinn and her husband Ben Bradlee, have signed a five-year lease with popular Manhattan socials Boykin Curry and Celerie Kemble, who along with their clan will be residing at the iconic East Hampton estate come September.
“Ever since the couple bought Grey Gardens from Little Edie Beale in 1979, they have rented it out, save for the month of August when they use the home. The last inhabitants, Quinn said, lived there for 12 years. Curry and Kemble’s five-year contract is the lengthiest that’s been issued. Neither party disclosed the rental price, but in May it was rumored Quinn and Bradlee were asking $30,000 for Aug. 28 through Sept. 7 alone.”

From The New York Daily News comes this blind item:
“Which allegedly bisexual hotel heir is getting it on with an N.Y.-based male reality TV star?”
It doesn’t take a genius to figure this one out, all one needs to do is head over to the bowels of Page Six and dig up this little tidbit:
“BIillionaire Pete Peterson is said to be ‘mortified’ over the sneering performance of his grandson PC on Bravo’s ‘NYC Prep.’ ‘Pete is really upset,’ a friend said. PC — whose official bio says, ‘Money, women and life’s spoils are all he’s ever known’ — is seen bragging and picking on younger kids. The insider added, ‘He was kicked out of several schools and the family cut him off at one point. He’s doing this show to get an acting career.’ Good Luck! Last week, PC was spotted getting ‘super touchy-feely’ with Barron Hilton at the Gramercy Park Hotel. A Bravo rep had no comment.
Mystery solved! Those Hilton kids sure do have a taste for Greek…and who can blame them.
