Andy Roddick auctioned off a very private tennis lesson at Sir Elton John’s 16th Annual Advanta World Team Tennis Smash Hits AIDS benefit this past weekend, which included an added incentive one very lucky bidder found hard to refuse.
“He originally was going to auction a private, hour-long tennis lesson to the highest bidder. Then, to sweeten the deal, he offered to take off his shirt for the ‘one-on-one instruction.’ Finally, the recently engaged Roddick offered to give the lesson — fully nude! Winning bid: $15,000 from a female fan.”
Whether Roddick was serious about his offer or just jokingly spicing things up remains to be seen, but if he does stick to his guns, one has to wonder if Andy’s fiance, swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker, will be present during the tennis lesson to keep “little Roddick” in check.
